No Frills Phonics is a children's educational app designed to teach letter sounds to children aged 2–6. We take your family's privacy seriously.

Data Collection

We collect minimal data. Specifically:

• Email address — only if you create an account (optional, used for authentication only)
• No names or contact information beyond email
• No location data collected
• No photos, videos, or audio recorded
• No analytics or tracking SDKs
• No advertising SDKs
• No third-party data sharing

Data Stored on Device

The app stores the following data locally on your device:

• Learning progress: Which letters have been practised, how many times, and when.
• Onboarding status: Whether the welcome screen has been shown.
• Subscription status: Whether you have an active subscription (managed by Apple/Google, not by us).

This data is deleted when you uninstall the app.

Data Stored on Our Servers

If you create an account, we store:

• Your email address
• Your learning progress (so it syncs across devices)
• Account creation date

We use Supabase as our backend provider. Data is stored securely and is not shared with third parties.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We do not have access to your payment information.

Children's Privacy (COPPA)

This app is designed for use by children with parental supervision and complies with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act):

• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13
• Account creation requires a parent or guardian
• No social features, chat, or user-generated content
• No behavioural advertising
• No external links accessible to children

Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below. Local device data is deleted when you uninstall the app.
